Work Style Diary at Somerset House

If you've been following my blog you will have realised, I have a new job working in the world of PR. The fun side of a new job, is that you have the perfect excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe and as my new career is fashion related I couldn't get my wardrobe without using Wilde Rooms.

Somerset House provided the perfect backdrop for What I Wilde Roomed and a great pit stop for afternoon tea at the Fernandez & Wells.

I decided to go for French Connection's leather trousers, Topshop lace cami and add a pop of colour with Zara clutch and heels with Asos's blanket cardigan to wrap up on those chilly commutes to and from work.

You can create your own selection and book a Wilde Room which is currently only based in London. Don't forget to share your selections with me so I can follow you.

Spring Beauty: Smokey Feline Flick

Imagine if you were given an empty bag and invited to Boots and told you could fill that bag with any beauty product you wanted. That's exactly what the ladies from Boots and Red Consultancy did last year to a group of bloggers and let us loose in their East London store for one evening. However, I couldn't help but be enticed by the artistry of Jose Bass who was quietly standing in a corner working his make up magic on tired eyes. So I was even happier when the make up artist to glamorous girls like Abbey Clancy, asked me to volunteer to be glammed up in his smokey eye tutorial. Not a bad evening for a lucky girl like me.

*apologies for the terrifying screenshot

Step Into Spring with Kurt Geiger

Late last year I was invited to a small slice of heaven just off Baker Street. The lovely team at Kurt Geiger invited me along to look at their new Spring/Summer shoe collection. What girl would turn down an offer like that?

Heading into an old studio, tables and mantlepieces were adorned with brogues, bags and stilettos with floral undertones setting up the seasonal theme.

Like a magpie to metal, the new accessories collection drew my attention with metallic shoppers, bold cosmetic cases and printed iPad cases. Kurt Geiger have set their own trends this season and gone for the minimal yet statement look on all their pieces.

Summer felt closer than ever when these beauties were spotted in all their leather glory.

But then came the classic pumps which have been given an uplift for the season ahead with a mix of textures and animal prints.

All that looking at shoes is thirsty work.

Time to look at purses.

And these stunning passport covers. One for Barcelona please!!

The collection felt seamless this year and flowed throughout the collection with similar materials and textures used all the way into the accessories.
Thanks to Chrisandrea and the Kurt Geiger team for such a wonderful display of shoes. Can i have them all please??!! To shop the Spring/Summer collection click here.
