It's not everyday that I get an invite to spend an evening at The Roof Gardens, Kensington and I've certainly never been invited to spend the evening there whilst in a Onesie.
However Norway's coolest export OnePiece did just that and let me relax around the tranquil gardens to celebrate the launch of their Autumn/Winter Collection.
Of course something that sounds too good to be true nearly always is which came in the form of my evening attire not arriving in time (thanks UPS)
But nothing was going to stop me from turning an invitation to the coolest party in town away so i dressed up and headed to see what all the fuss was about. Boy do they know how to throw a party!!
Apologies about the lack of picture quality but when your having a good time sometimes the blogging goes out of the window. Once at the top floor there wasn't an area of the terrace that hadn't been given the One Piece treatment.
Guests were mingling with other guests in their favourite OnePiece Onesie, while dancers entertained, busting their moves to the insane beats.
Drink in hand, I headed outside for some fresh air only to be confronted by fake snow and flashes of light bulbs.
Well a party is the perfect place to get a great shot and shooting the new OnePiece campaign against a live party really sums up the brand's cool, young feel. I too could have joined in being a part of OnePiece getting snapped in their photobooth but feeling shy I left it for the other hundred guests including Sadie Frost to give it a go.
Sadly I couldn't stay for the whole evening as work had to be done but when this package came on my doorstep it lifted my spirits straight up. I always wondered why they called the company OnePiece..now I know why. I never want to take it off!
It's far too comfortable and will probably be worn on those long days at uni. Well whatever makes you comfortable right? No wonder it's been so popular with the likes of 1D boys, Tom Daley and Ellie Goulding wear them all the time.
Massive thanks to the OnePiece and Vivid Fashion group team and especially Guy and Natasha for throwing a great party. I repeat this OnePiece is never coming off! Shop the latest collection of OnePiece's here or head to their ultra hip store in cool Shoreditch at BoxPark.
