The Fall Issue

Horseferry Girl having been on a small hiatus with other projects is back and has lots to tell in the world of fashion, art and culture. And what better way to get over this painful stomach infection than to review the Fall Collections. Of course there's no easy way to start but its a no brainer that Burberry is definitely first.

Burberry Prorsum
At the forefront of the digital branding fashion world is Mr digital himself Christopher Bailey who incorporated his magic once again with the "Tweetwalk" to the delight of Burberry fans round the world. Again this season the clothes were available directly on burberry.com after the show so the cute bows and the voluminous coats could be ordered in immediately.

As per usual on the Burberry show, the front row was out in force with RHW, Eddie Redmayne, Clemence Poesy, Mario Testino, Scott Schuman (below) and Will Young all with beaming grins as the rain fell against the roof of the tent in Kensington Gardens. I had the the wonderful pleasure of seeing Christopher Bailey outside the tent talking to his team as they went through last minute prep of the show blasting out Rae's 'Walls' as i strolled through Hyde Park.

Seeing this season's collection just demonstrated to many and many other fashion editors/writers/bloggers how talented Mr Bailey really is. The wool mixed with the Gabardine mixed again with the leather and a bow to sinch in the velvet trench highlights the detail that makes this British fashion house stand the test of time. Once again well done Team Burberry.
